Cohesity Added to U.S. DHS CDM Program as Approved Product

Cohesity is pleased to announce that we have been added to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program approved product list (APL). The CDM program helps strengthen the cybersecurity of government networks and systems. It includes cybersecurity tools and sensors that are reviewed by the program for conformance with Section 508, federal license users, and CDM technical requirements. The addition of Cohesity to this list underscores the importance of our technology in reducing cybersecurity threats to the federal government via our comprehensive platform for data management.

The DHS CDM is a preeminent federal program with a dynamic approach to fortifying the cybersecurity of government networks and systems. DHS developed the program in 2012 to support government-wide and agency-specific efforts to provide risk-based, consistent, and cost-effective cybersecurity solutions for protecting federal civilian networks. It delivers cybersecurity tools, integration services, and dashboards that help participating agencies improve their security posture by:

Being added to the DHS CDM APL is just another example of Cohesity’s growth as a cybersecurity and data management vendor. With Cohesity, federal agencies can cost-efficiently manage and secure all data and workload types from core data centers to FedRAMP clouds to the edge. Earlier this month, Cohesity was certified by the U.S. Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DoDIN APL) in the Data Storage Controller category. The DoDIN APL is a master list of products that have completed cybersecurity and interoperability certification and are approved for deployment in the DoD’s technology infrastructure.

The DHS CDM APL and the DoDIN APL are both part of a list of Cohesity certifications and compliance that show that we are committed to providing the DoD, DHS, and federal civilian agencies with an entirely new approach to data protection. With this approach federal agencies can optimize their IT environment to meet and exceed Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) requirements. Other certifications and compliance Cohesity holds include:

  • FedRAMP-certified government cloud integrations with leading public cloud partners
  • Common Criteria: EAL 2+, SafeNet integration
  • Always-on Encryption based on strong AES-256
  • FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Validation
  • TAA compliant

Cohesity also provides native integration with all the leading FedRamp cloud providers, and many of our cloud data management products are approved for use with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government Cloud, and other FedRamp certified providers.
